Fourth grade artists began the fall with a study of Georges Seurat. They explored his work on our Smartboard and experimented with optical blending. After spending a day studying his work, techniques, and style, the artists were challenged to create a visual snapshot of everyday life using “dots” or applying the paint in small marks and mixing entirely on the surface of the canvas.
